Lose Your Belly Fat FAST!
Fitness Advertising (False Advertising) 101 – if you want to have your workouts noticed online – use clickbait titles & images like these 👆👆👆
If you’re reading this post – I likely clickbaited to you into being here by promising you QUICK, EASY, FAT LOSS! #sorrynotsorry I’m glad you’re here because we need to talk about weight loss clickbait! If you’re mad at me, you should be, who wants to be tricked?? Well, I’m not here to sell you false promises. I’m here to provide you with accurate & unbiased information so that you CAN reach your goals! Yes, I CAN help you, but I want to let you in on the secret of clickbait first so that you don’t end up wasting your money on things that don’t work!
Clickbait is a term describing web content that is aimed at generating online advertising revenue, at the expense of quality or accuracy. It uses sensationalist headlines to attract click-through and to encourage forwarding of the material online.
“You’ll never guess how this 44-year-old woman lost 50 pounds without exercise, while still eating tacos EVERYDAY … “
“Lose 20 Pounds in 2 Weeks Without Exercise”
“Lose Belly Fat In Just One Week – #1 Weight Loss Hack”
“The Fat Loss Secret That Celebrity Trainers Don’t Want You to Know”
^^ that is all clickbait

Misinformation Leads to Disappointment
It perpetuates misinformation, leads to unrealistic expectations, and generally, someone is making money off of you clicking on that post, which is why they just care about you clicking instead of actually providing you with accurate information.
I’ve never spent a lot of time on Pinterest until recently and quickly realized that it’s just oozing with terrible misinformation and that many pins are a form of clickbait.
What’s interesting is that as an advertiser, I get to see what sort of things people are searching for on Pinterest AND what you learn as an advertiser is to create content based on what people are looking for.
It’s Created From What You Are Searching For!
Things I saw people were searching for:
- How to Get Abs In A Week for Teens (100k teens searched this term)
- How to Get Abs in A Day
- Best Stomach Pooch Workout
- Get Abs In 2 Weeks
- Workouts to Lose Belly Fat Fast (the most searched weight loss keyword on Pinterest)
- How to Lose Fupa 😆
So essentially – If I want people to find me online and do my workouts, I COULD just go ahead and create a “The Best Stomach Pooch Workout To Get You Insanely Ripped for Your Next Beach Vacation!” or I could create a “How to Get Abs in 7 Days for Teens” Program.
Yes, that’s a great idea! I’ll target teens – feed them lies – show them lots of convincing before and after photos, try to lower their self-esteem, sell them fat loss lollypops (ya, that’s a thing) – and I’ll take their hard-earned after school Abercrombie part-time job $.
NO! ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME! I could NEVER do that. It would be selling my soul!!
The fact is, this IS actually happening and it’s how many companies within the thriving weight loss industry create advertising campaigns or products. Not only are they targeting teens, but they are also doing this to EVERYONE!
This makes me SUPER sad. 😥

Our Insecurities Are Being Used To Profit!
I think it’s important for people to be aware that we are being targeted based on our search history. Our own insecurities and lack of knowledge are being used for profit.
While I can’t change the fact that there are people in the fitness industry who will always try to take advantage of people – I can do my best at not being a part of it and by helping bring awareness to it.
I’m curious to see how my own clickbait worked to try and get people to this page.👇👇 Look familiar? It’s likely what you clicked on to get here! The only difference between my clickbait and others is that I am not here to sell you false hope! While I COULD do this, this is just not how I choose to roll.
Aren’t You Sick Of Being Lied To? Want REAL Solutions?
I created these posts on Pinterest and Instagram as my own little social experiment. My guess – These will end up being my most pinned posts on Pinterest ever.
My hope is just to get people here and for them to give me a chance to explain how they can really reach their goals. No tricks, No expensive fat loss supplements – No false advertising.
So, to those of you who got here because I tricked you – I apologize for the deception, but I hope you can see that I have the best of intentions. I am SICK of people lying to you in order to profit. I am not here to do that. I just want to help clear up the misinformation.
If you are trying to lose belly fat – Please don’t be disheartened when I say this, but there isn’t a quick solution for this that is going to give you long-lasting results. Most of the formulas on the market that are delivering rapid weight loss results without exercise are typically laxative formulas. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU.
Don’t Buy Detox Formulas or Diet Pills – You’re Wasting Your Money!
I’m certain you’ve likely seen all the ads for Detox Teas on social media within the last few years. Detox teas simply just cause digestive upset and severe diarrhea. You will lose water, but not fat. You don’t want to lose water! This can dangerous!
Now, let me stray here for just one second.
Jameela Jamil 👆 To say I have a girl crush on this woman would be a complete understatement.
She just helped push forward new policies on Instagram in regards to detox teas, diet pills, diet lollypops, gummy bears, etc.
Under these new rules, if a post promotes a weight loss product, users who are younger than 18-years-old will be prohibited from viewing the post!!! (1 small step for [wo]man…👩🚀)
The second policy move is the banning of any content that makes a ‘miraculous claim’ about diet or weight loss products. So if an influencer posts a photo of themselves with detox tea, promoting their discount code, and telling their followers how they quickly lost weight solely due to the product at hand, it will be removed for violating the new community guidelines. (1 giant leap for [wo]mankind!!👩🚀)
Yea – I’m pretty darn excited about this. It’s one small step forward in the right direction.
The REAL SOLUTION
Now why I’m mentioning this is so you can see the fact that indeed these are being recognized as “miraculous claims”. They are selling you a false reality and now actions are being taken against them to have them banned because it’s well-known FACT that these products are not what they say they are. Save your $$!! There are so many other FREE things you can do that can help get you to your goals.
The truth is – in order to have fat loss results you will have to clean up your diet. Yea, that’s not the sexiest sales pitch right there, is it? This is why no one is trying to sell you the truth. It’s a tough pill to swallow but a pill that you can’t profit from.
I totally understand the desire for quick results – and it’s HARD not to just want to find the easiest route to get there and it’s easy to get wrapped up in these false promises when a beautiful assumingly perfect women is telling you how well it worked for her. Gosh, I even found myself at times questioning reality “Wait, is this a thing? Is there something that I don’t know!” “Why are all these smart people endorsing such a terrible product if it wasn’t true?!”… well duh… money!
Please take my advice. Stop trying to take the easy way out. If something is too good to be true, it is. If I could be your fairy godmother and wave my magic wand at you to help you reach your goals, I would. Since I can’t do that for you, the next best thing I can do is to help guide you towards the real and accurate knowledge and information I have which CAN help you reach your goals. Yes – THERE IS A WAY! It’s just going to take more than 6 minutes though and it doesn’t come in pill form. I’m sorry, I know it’s not what you want to hear but please don’t spend any more of your hard-earned money on products that don’t have your best interest at hand.
